So, 31 films in and the latter half of the Venice Film Festival is proving more meaty with some very interesting titles from around the planet. Here are a few of Simon's highlights.

With so many films from around the planet playing in the festival and accompanying market, it's a bewildering smorgasbord of upcoming titles for the year ahead.
Heading into the final stretch of the festival, one of the films that sticks out for me is.....
An inauspicious start for me to Cannes this year. My flight is delayed for two hours meaning I am too late for any films on Thursday evening... Even worse BA have lost my luggage... Yikes!
