ICO Young Audiences Screening Day - May 2017

The ICO is delighted to announce our Young Audiences Screening Day, an industry screenings event showcasing upcoming releases for children and young audiences (16-30 years old).

The event will take place at Showroom in Sheffield on Friday 5 May 2017, and will also incorporate capacity building sessions on how best to develop audiences for a diverse range of cinema aimed at young audiences.

Sessions will be targeted both towards venues that are just starting to think about creating focused programmes for young audiences, and venues that are keen to expand or develop their existing offer.

We're delighted to be able to announce that we're kicking off Young Audiences Screening Day with a keynote from Florine Wiebenga, Head of Education at Amsterdam's Eye Filmmuseum, on working with young adult audiences and the rewards of engaging with the next generation of cinemagoers.

Find out more about capacity building sessions here.

In addition, you'll be able to meet and network with fellow exhibitors during the complimentary lunch and drinks reception!
