Events Coordinator

Salary: €500 p/week
Dublin International Film Festival is currently seeking an Events Coordinator who will liaise with the Festival Director on delivery of the public and industry series of events for the 2026 Festival, including screenings, Q&As, workshops and panel discussions.

Role responsibilities
- Delivery of both public and industry focused events as part of the festival including setting up and managing participants and panels.
- With the Executive Festival Director, book hosts and manage post screening Q&As, workshops and panels.
- Coordinate juries for all competitions.
- Assist the Programmer with co-ordination the First Frame film student programme and related Education events.
- Organise and manage the DIFF 2026 launch event,
- Opening & Closing Night events, VM Discovers reception and DIFF Awards event including managing budgets for each.
- Work with Marketing and Publicity teams regarding promotion and marketing materials for all events.
- Work with Production Manager to ensure delivery of events.
- Deliver detailed itineraries and budgets for each event.
- Complete detailed reports on each event.
Person specifications
- Event Management experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Irish film industry
- Technology-focused and skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Ability to multi-task and work on own initiative
