Training Courses

FHSE - Programming Short Films

24/10/2022

12pm – 1pm

Cambridge Film Festival, Cambridge

Our next free training and networking session for FHSE members is Shorts Film Programming at Cambridge Film Festival on Monday 24 October from 12pm – 1pm.

For this session we will be joined by Isabelle Croissant, Talent Development Programme Manager (Film & Digital) at HOME, a multi-arts venue in Manchester. To coincide with the full industry schedule at Cambridge Film Festival, we’ll be taking a look at how HOME has successfully developed filmmaking talent strands like Filmed Up that not only introduce short films into their programme but bring a new, younger audience to the venue in the process.

After the session, we would like to invite all attendees to join us for the rest of Cambridge Film Festival’s Industry Day, which will include premieres of new regional BFI NETWORK short films and further industry discussions.

The session will be hosted at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. Further details will be provided upon registration.

Remember, there are travel and accommodation bursaries available to support your attendance at this event through Film Hub South East. You can find more information on how to apply here.
