Supporting emerging filmmakers is a fantastic way to grow new audiences, advocate for film production communities, and create relationships with the directors of tomorrow.
That’s why we’ve put together two accessible packages of short films from emerging filmmakers from the South East (as part of our work as the lead organisation for Film Hub South East). Each package has been carefully curated as a ready‑to‑screen programme, already certified, subtitled, and free for exhibitors to screen, ensuring venues can bring outstanding films to their audiences.
Developed in partnership with the BFI NETWORK and Young Film Network South East, the two programmes cater for different audiences:
- Small Wonders is a family-friendly (age 5+) programme filled with stories of curiosity, friendship and care
- A Slice of Life is aimed at younger adults with stories that reflect the rollercoaster of growing up and getting on
Each package has been curated by our experienced film programmers, is free to book, and includes BBFC age certification and a bespoke marketing pack with stills, a trailer, and filmmaker bios.
