XR and Immersive Senior Production Coordinator

The BFI is looking for a XR & Immersive Senior Production Coordinator to take a lead role on the production and operational delivery of the Festival’s LFF Expanded programme.

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.

Fixed Term Contract: 1 July 2024 – 8 November 2024

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with key colleagues, support on the technical delivery of the festival’s physical XR exhibition, alongside leading on the delivery of any digital/online touchpoints.
  • Work closely with artists and the festival team in the production of the brochure, website and press launch, ensuring materials are gathered and cleared for use in a timely manner and all information pertaining to XR works is up to date and carefully archived.
  • Following on from the programme launch, you will focus on the maintenance and circulation of information relating to the programme to various relevant departments.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Significant experience working in a cultural organisation or multiple/large-scale festivals in a events or production role
  • Experience and knowledge of XR technologies, file formats and devices
  • Attention to detail with the ability to process and format large amounts of information into clear datasets
  • A passion for and working knowledge of, storytelling through immersive technology.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach, delivered within a best practice framework
