Salary: Unpaid

Big Picture Festival are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with the preparation and delivery of their exciting new festival. The festival will take place at The Bridgehouse Theatre, Warwick between November 23rd and 24th.

Volunteer duties include:

• Attend an initial briefing session
• Ushering at screenings
• Directing audiences front of house
• Answering simple queries or redirect queries to the appropriate person
• Ensure Front of House and auditoria areas are presentable and tidy at all times
• Acting as a runner across the festival site
• Front of house duties to keep the Big Picture Festival running smoothly

Person Specification

No previous experience is necessary, just an enthusiasm for the role. However, the following skills are desirable:

• Friendly and warm personability, able to maintain a polite demeanour at all times
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Enthusiastic team worker
• Punctual and reliable with excellent time-keeping
• Interest in/enthusiasm for films and a willingness to chat about films
