Salary: Food and travel expenses
Women Over 50 Film Festival is looking for volunteers to join their team.
About WOFFF
The Women Over 50 Film Festival (WOFFF) is dedicated to promoting the incredible work of older women both in front of and behind the camera. Our mission is to challenge ageism and sexism in the film industry by showcasing compelling films that celebrate older women while fostering connections and conversations across generations. WOFFF is a volunteer-led and volunteer-run Community Interest Company that welcomes everyone with open arms. We are committed to showcasing outstanding work by older women, building a film community centered around them, and combating the isolation and loneliness that many older women experience.
Our 2024 festival will showcase an incredible selection of short films that focus on the lives and work of older women. WOFFF filmmakers will participate in Q&As sessions after each shorts programme. We are also very excited to be hosting a special “In Conversation With…” session with a British National Treasure!
About the role
This year, WOFFF is proud to present a hybrid festival, with WOFFF24 Online running from 7 September to 7 October, and a special event at Depot, Lewes on Saturday 21 September.
