About the role
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for liaising with all Festival teams to ensure the right support is in place pre-, during and post- Sheffield DocFest 2024. The Volunteer Coordinator will enable support to a number of people from a wide range of backgrounds and lived experience to ensure the volunteers have a highly positive and productive experience at the Festival. They vwill represent the DocCrew volunteer programme, which attracted more than 500 applications in 2023, to local charities and community groups as well as local and national universities.
Contract (fixed-term):
- 11 March to 5 April, 2 days p/w
- 8 April to 9 May, 3 days p/w
- 13 May to 7 June, Full-time
- Festival delivery period 10 to 19 June
- Total days: 52
Location: Sheffield and mixture of hybrid working online, remotely and in the office Requirement to be Sheffield-based from 8 April through to the end of the festival
