Sheffield Doc/Fest is seeking a new UK Press Officer.

Sheffield Doc/Fest is a film festival and marketplace, celebrating, sharing and debating non–fiction arts as a collective form of engagement. It is a space for freedom and for exploration of the ways in which filmmakers, artists and public may reinvent meaning and new possible worlds.

Doc/Fest is a creative space for discovery, collaboration and inspiration. The festival champions and pushes forward talent, ideas and interaction for the future of film and the arts. It’s an open, inclusive festival, bringing together veteran creatives, new voices and our city to shape and question the world we live in, creating a sense of community and the potential for change.

About the role

Doc/Fest is a creative space for discovery, collaboration and inspiration. We champion and push forward talent, ideas and interaction for the future of film and the arts. We are an open, inclusive festival, bringing together veteran creatives, new voices and our city to shape and question the world we live in, creating a sense of community and the potential for change.

You will help us celebrate, share and debate non–fiction arts as a collective form of engagement by helping convert our compelling message into a bold brand, strong media profile and successful campaigns. As our UK Press Officer you will invite audiences to engage with experiences and stories from different parts of our world and to join the makers in inspiring moments. You will be helping more people to enjoy an exciting encounter with filmmakers and helping them discover Doc/Fest for what it is: a place for inspiration, debate, growth and challenge.
