Training Manager

Signature Pictures

London

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 (dependent on experience)

Signature Pictures is an award-winning social enterprise film production company. Partnered with Jobcentre Plus, the Prince’s Trust, Creative Skillset and a range of charities nationally, we transform professional film productions into live training environments for those who never thought a career in film possible.

Since 2015 we have produced 13 fiction films and over 150 pieces of branded content, training over 180 unemployed and ‘at risk’ people in all areas of production, providing them with the skills, contacts and self-belief necessary to forge successful careers within film or TV.

We at Signature Pictures are looking for a full-time Training Manager to help develop and deliver our award-winning film production training programmes.

The main responsibilities of the Training Manager will be defined by four key areas:

  1. Marketing of available positions and recruitment of trainees for each project
  2. Attending film productions where trainees have been placed to ensure best practice is being observed (helping to define the ‘Training Manager’ role/credit for IMDb)
  3. The growth and improvement of ‘aftercare’ facilities and opportunities for trainee alumni
  4. Identifying further opportunities for growth of our initiatives

While a background in film production is desirable, it is essential that candidates have demonstrable experience of delivering training programmes. We are also looking for an individual who has the following attributes:

  1. High level of confidence and tenacity, with an ability to speak to new people of all age ranges and from all demographics
  2. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to implement systems for managing and tracking trainees
  3. High level of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel and apple software.

Working closely with the Creative & Commercial Directors (as well as independent film producers) you will take a leading a role in a small but innovative organisation that is changing the way the film industry trains and recruits its workforce.

To apply, please send your CV and cover letter to: jms@signaturepictures.co.uk (Jon Max Spatz, Creative Director). Any questions regarding the role can also be emailed to Jon at this address.

Interviews will take place during September for a start date of Monday 01 October 2018.

The closing date for this position is 07/09/2018 at 23:59
