Showroom Workstation is looking for fixed-term Customer Services Assistants (CSA) to work in either their bar or cinema for the duration of Sheffield DocFest 2022.

About Showroom

Showroom Workstation is an independent charity, operating an integrated media arts complex with café/bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen cinema and creative industries managed workspace.

About the Role

We are looking for fixed-term Customer Services Assistants (CSA) to work in either our bar or cinema for the duration of Sheffield DocFest 2022. We will shortlist and appoint people to either the cinema or bar, based on your skills. Duties will include checking admission tickets, escorting customers to their seats and ensuring that no unauthorised person is admitted to the auditorium and selling and serving food and drink in the bar, on the barbeque or in the deli area in the Workstation, specifically created for the Festival. Duties will also include general customer care, replenishing stock and keeping public areas clean and tidy throughout the Festival.

It is very important to note that successful applicants must be available for training on either Wednesday 13, Thursday 14 or Friday 15 June 2022 and should be available for shifts between Thursday 23 to Tuesday 28 June 2022.  Shifts will be for approximately 8 hours and you will be rota’d to work between 8 am and 10 pm.

About You

Experience is an advantage but not essential – we’re looking for staff with great people skills, a can-do attitude and with a passion for excellent service. Bar or barista experience would be helpful, but full training will be given to the right candidates.
