The BFI is looking for a Technical Services Technician to join their Technical Services Team.

Part Time: 10.25 hours per week

The Technical Services Technician will work as a member of the projection and events shift teams undertaking all operational tasks across all theatres and other Technical areas at BFI Southbank and, where required, external venues.

You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in all matters of film projection systems, theatre lighting systems, theatre P.A., audio mixing and sound desks.  You will also have an excellent working knowledge, experience and high proficiency in digital cinema, digital library systems and video projection systems.

This role is offered on a part time basis (10.25 hours per week) although additional 10 hour shifts will be offered and available on a four weekly basis. The Technical Services daily work window is 8.00am to 11.00pm, 7 days per week, and all staff are rostered within a shift pattern.
