Systems Coordinator (Festivals)

The BFI is seeking a Systems Coordinator to join their Festivals team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

About the role

The Systems Coordinator will provide cross-departmental support for the underlying processes and workflows of a busy team. They will be working with various teams in the Public Programme and Audiences directorate to embed understanding of Artifax, and other operational systems and to facilitate more information sharing.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Act as the lead user for all Festival and Programme departments’ systems, including the BF’s programme management and event scheduling database, Artifax.
  • Engange with system “super-users” across the Festival and Programme departments to gather system feedback, update on planned changes and address any challenges.
  • Maintain existing system integrations
  • To provide training and training plans for all teams (including new starters) on all systems, preparing documentation to support this.
  • Work collaboratively across the Festival and Programme teams, to identify and resolve gaps and duplications
We are looking for candidates who have:
  • Experience working with or managing databases with the ability to accurately edit large amounts of data
  • Experience providing training or producing training documentation in relation to IT systems, programmes or software
  • Experience of team-working in a high-pressure environment and the ability to contribute to the teams’ collective knowledge through strong communication and proactive information sharing
