Salary: £29,055 - £34,338 pro-rata

The BFI London Film Festival is recruiting for the position of Series and Episodic Programmer within the curatorial team. The post will be offered on a two-year, part time contract from April 2020 through to March 2023.

The Series & Episodic Programmer will:

  • Lead the team to curate a selection of 10-12 programmes of moving image work created in series or episode form.
  • Develop new relationships for the Festival with a wide range of international producers and rights holders
  • Work collaboratively with BFI colleagues and particularly BFI Television Programmer (Cinemas)

The successful applicant will have experience in programming or a closely related curatorial role and have strong and demonstrable knowledge of the international film and television industries. An ability for diplomacy, impeccable communication and administration skills; the post holder will have developed contacts and networks in episodic, series and broadcast. The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for a broad expression of work and how to engage new audiences through this.
