Salary: £27,116 - £30,497 per annum + 5% availability allowance

Warwick Arts Centre sits at the heart of a university campus and alongside a busy and wide-ranging artistic programme we manage and deliver graduation and conference events for the university. We are an integral part of the regional arts ecology, work closely with our local community, and aim to reflect that community in all that we do.

Over the past 2 years, we have completed and opened a new building and restated our vision and values. Due to these changes, we have invested in our people and wish to expand our teams, so this is an exciting time to join us.

About the Role

Are you an experienced, forward thinking, inclusive and collaborative sound technician who is dedicated to managing and working within a customer focussed, multiskilled team to deliver the highest quality in everything you and your team do?

We are looking for a Head of Sound to lead our sound team at Warwick Arts Centre. In this role you will supervise staff and allocate resources, contribute to the planning, set up and delivery of events, to ensure the highest standards of presentation, contact external users to ascertain event requirements and oversee maintenance and testing of equipment to ensure compliance with current regulations.

About You

You will provide effective team leadership and management and high-quality experience for staff and users, while maintaining high standards of health and safety to ensure safe delivery of technical requirements/operations for all events on and off site. A positive, pro-active approach to people and technical management with the associated high levels of interpersonal skills are essential for this post.
