Espresso Media International is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join their growing team.

About Espresso Media International

Established over 22 years ago, Espresso Media International is a rapidly growing international TV distributor, specialising in high-end documentaries, factual entertainment and lifestyle content. With a boutique style, we create bespoke marketing plans in order to pre-sell and license content globally on behalf of our international producers, including many award-winners. Our clients include TV networks and streamers worldwide, such as Channel 4, Discovery, Nat Geo, Netflix, Al Jazeera, ARTE, BBC, Sky, A&E Networks, Peacock and many more, as well as in-flight and educational institutions.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join our growing team. This integral role will be responsible for providing support across sales, marketing and deliveries, with a particular focus on VOD clients.

Key Responsibilities

VOD Sales

  • Researching and prospecting new VOD partners
  • Managing the running of Espresso owned VOD channels and relationships with direct VOD partners (e.g., Amazon, Tubi, Pluto)
  • Submitting new films to VOD partners and assisting with programming scheduling
  • Support VOD sales requests, assisting with territory avails sheets
  • Keeping VOD contacts & briefs up to date in sales database
  • Keeping rights management software up to date

Marketing Assistance

  • Creating website posts for new titles
  • Adding new title information to sales database
  • Organising sales meetings and market attendance on behalf of sales team
  • Assisting with creation of interest sheets to producers

Materials and Deliverables

  • Coordinating, packaging and delivering materials to clients
  • Receiving and saving materials from producers upon acquisition and adjusting materials to spec where needed
  • Liaising with clients, post-production house and producers on any materials issues
  • Ordering captions, subtitles and liaising with producers on additional materials requirements
The Ideal Candidate
  • Has a keen interest in documentary and factual programming
  • An understanding of the TV distribution landscape
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen problem solver with great work ethic
  •  Is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple tasks
  • Is a team player with an enthusiastic attitude
  • Is organised, with great attention to detail
Experience
  • Will ideally have 1 years’ experience or work experience in a sales or operations role at a TV distribution, production, post-production, sales agency, broadcaster or similar but graduates will also be considered
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Suite desirable
  • Educated to graduate level desirable but not essential

This is an exciting and fast paced job, working with award-winning producers and multi-platform broadcast clients. This role comes with a great opportunity for fast progression to Sales Executive level for the right candidate. You will be working as part of a small and dedicated team; relevant training will be given to all areas of the role and will be done under the guidance of the Head of Sales and Acquisitions.
