The Centre for the Moving Image is looking for a Publications Editor to join the Edinburgh International Film Festival team.
About the Role
Publications Editor at EIFF ensures that all film-related content is sourced from filmmakers and distributors ready for the variety of Marketing requirements, these include images and video trailers (and film promotional material).
This role is key to the production of the Festival communications material, the brochure and the website. The Publications Editor also ensures that all copy for the EIFF brochure and website meets high standards of readability, clarity and consistency of usage and is ready to go live by EIFF deadlines.
This role sits within the Marketing Department which creates and produces all communications material for the Festival including the Festival brochure and catalogue, all publicity collateral, advertising, the EIFF website and venue signage.
The department also works closely with a wide range of other Festival teams to drive ticket sales, dress the Festival sites and venues, maximise sponsor crediting and encourage as many people as possible to experience the Festival.
This is a fixed-term position, part-time (3 days a week) from 9 to 22 May and full-time from 23 May.

Working from home is currently required for this role, but some days will require the post holder to be based at the CMI’s offices at Filmhouse on Lothian Road in Edinburgh.
