Project Co-ordinator

Thunderbird Releasing

London

Salary: £5,000 fee

Independent film distribution company Thunderbird Releasing seeks a highly organised, efficient and enthusiastic Project Co-ordinator to support the Head of Marketing on the release of two upcoming East Asian titles (Shoplifters and Burning) that are receiving support from the BFI’s Audience fund and the Film Audience Network’s (FAN’s) New Release scheme. The Co-ordinator will be the lynchpin across the activity, focussing on grassroots marketing and connecting partners.

The candidate will have some prior experience of working with venues on audience outreach programmes along with marketing experience gained in a digital environment. An interest in contemporary cinema is essential and East Asian cinema specifically desirable. The candidate can be based anywhere in the UK but will need to travel to London a number of times for meetings with colleagues and partners. Key to the initiative is working on mechanics to re-engage audiences across the two titles through digital marketing and partnerships.

Likely to require a significant part-time commitment.

Project to be delivered between November 2018 and March 2019.
