Salary: £1000 per month

The Rooftop Cinema Club is seeking a Film Programming Consultant based in the UK to work with their US Film Programming Manager to discuss and advise on film content for their three London based cinemas.

Driven by our love of film, we are on a mission to transform nights at the cinema with stunning rooftop views, sunsets & starlit evenings, friends, loved ones, awesome drink & food and great movies on the big screen.

The function of the Film Programming Consultant’s role would be to:

  • Review each cinema’s film schedule as provided by our Film Programming Manager

  • Compare scheduled titles to our audience data and your understanding of a particular title’s cultural resonation
  • Predict and advise on if a suggested film would be successful or not
  • Suggest potential lateral titles that are related in content or following to titles that we have seen success with
  • Copywrite 15-word blurbs for each title that will be displayed on our ticketing pages
  • assist/give suggestions on themed events/talent
  • up to date and in tune with current film industry/developments in London

Fundamentally, you need to be able to advise on the likelihood of popularity of titles with our locations’ audiences.

Terms of the role:

  • Fixed term (ASAP, Until September 1st 2020)
  • 2 days per week (16 hours)
  • Salary is £1000 per month
  • Remote, flexible role. Your point of contact is based in LA, so overlap slightly and coincide to facilitate meetings and correspondence is advantageous.
  • Requirement to attend a video meeting at least once a week for 1-2 hours between 5pm-9pm GMT/9-1pm PST
  • You will need your own computer
