Programme Events Coordinator

Salary: €500 per week

The Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is seeking a Programme Events Co-ordinator to work on the delivery of the public and industry series of events for the 2021 Festival.

Taking place 3 – 14 March 2021, the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival is Ireland’s premier film festival event. The Festival curates and presents the best in emerging international and Irish film for a wide audience through its annual festival. In 2021, the Festival will present a hybrid festival with films screened in cinemas, outdoors and online.

Job: Programme Events Coordinator

Start Date: 4 January 2021

Reporting to: Festival Director

Salary: €500 per week

Job Description

Liaise with the Festival Director on delivery of the public and industry series of events for the 2021 Festival.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Festival Director in the development and execution of the finalised programme of both public and industry events
• Be the events liaison person for DIFF team and event participants
• Work with the marketing and publicity teams regarding promotion and marketing materials for these events
• Assist the Festival Director with all administration regarding the events and programme
• Liaise with Marketing regarding design of content for digital brochure
• Deliver detailed itineraries for each event to DIFF Production Manager and participants of the events
• Assist in programme scheduling on Film Chief
• Seek approval on all budgetary spend in advance
• Complete detailed reports on each event
