Press Delegates Services Assistant

BFI

London

Salary: £22,494

The BFI London Film Festival is recruiting for a Press Delegate Services Assistant.

Reporting to the BFI Festivals Press and PR Manager and working closely with the Delegate Services team, this role will support the Press and PR and Industry Teams in the press delegate accreditation process, including the day-to-day duties in the running of the Delegate Centre, liaising with the media, the LFF PR agency, distributors, producers and colleagues across the BFI.

You will also support Press and Industry screenings, creating, compiling and maintaining accurate information for Festival databases, compiling information for the delegate website and mail outs, production of delegate passes, recording financial information and supporting other festival departments in the lead up to and during Festival.

This role is often the first point of face to face contact that the media has with the festival and therefore it is essential that this role acts as an appropriate ambassador for the BFI and the LFF at all times.

The ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work during the Festival, is essential to the role. You will be mainly based at BFI Southbank (nearest station is Waterloo), with some event delivery work at other central London venues. Late night transport home (after 11pm) will be provided during the Festival when evening event support is required.

You will enjoy benefits such as our pension scheme, excellent support for working parents, 28-33 days annual leave, tickets to BFI festivals and events plus many others.
