NSFF is looking for a driven, responsible and effective volunteer to join their small grassroots team in creating promotional material for the festival, marketing their events and selling tickets for screenings.

About Native Spirit Film Festival

Native Spirit Foundation is an entirely volunteer-run, non-profit organisation specialised in Indigenous-produced Cinema Media & Arts. The foundation hosts the annual Native Spirit Film Festival #NSFF2021 and year-round events. The 15th edition runs 12 October – 20  November.

  • Writing and editing promotional material for the festival on MailChimp and Google Docs
  • Marketing specific festival events such as in-person and online screenings
  • Selling tickets for festival events held on Elevent
  • Liaising with the Artistic Director in order to discuss strategies, complete tasks and meet deadlines
Required skills
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Time-management skills: able to meet deadlines and self-manage workload
  • Organisational skills: able to self-organise and keep track of own work as well as individual contribution to shared documents
  • Communication skills: able to communicate with the Artistic Director about what tasks you are carrying out and when, and summarise what you have completed
  • Team-working skills: able to carry out instructions from senior team members and communicate feedback
  • Basic digital literacy: able to work comfortably or learn on the job with different social media sites, Google Drive, Google Docs and MailChimp
  • Fully remote working so familiarity with Zoom, Google Meets or an equivalent is a must
  • Flexible to your schedule
  • Our ideal candidate would have one working day to dedicate to the festival, preferably two
