Park Circus is seeking a passionate and highly organised individual with keen attention to detail to join their Glasgow team as a PR and Marketing Intern.

About the Role

Working as part of the Marketing team, you will play a key supporting role across the marketing team. This includes:

  • Supporting image, marketing asset and trailer delivery for theatrical screenings and releases and for films licensed for home entertainment and third parties
  • Sourcing and collating official film images and poster files, filing assets in our file management system
  • Supporting PR activity including collating material for press releases, press kits, clips and assets for publications and broadcasters, supporting occasional screener dispatch / press screenings
  • Outreach to connect with fans and interest groups
  • Updating website listings and system data
  • Routing inbound enquiries
  • Anything else required to support the smooth running of a small but busy marketing team

Outside the marketing team some supporting tasks across other departments will be part of the role to provide a wider introduction to global classic film distribution. This includes processing box office returns and administrative support as required.

This role will suit someone with an interest in film distribution and how movies connect with audiences, good attention to detail and a love of cinema.

Salary information: A monthly training allowance based on a percentage to the London Living Wage (estimated at £376.25 per week) and exempt from tax and National Insurance.

  • Self-motivated and keen to learn new skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment as part of a small team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • An interest in a wide range of media
  • An understanding and love of cinema
Desirable, but not required
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with a range of Microsoft Office packages
  • Understanding of image and film file types, image quality and resolution, etc.
  • Knowledge of any languages
