Salary: £25,000 pro rata
Based in Shooting People’s London office, the Partnerships and Events Co-ordinator will be responsible for producing events, developing SP sponsor partnerships, and growing the membership.
The role is part-time (4 days a week). £25,000 pro rata (£20,000 p/a).
Key Responsibilities include:
Producing and growing our Short Cuts short film competition and Short Cuts events (4 events a year).
Overseeing marketing materials (videos, flyers, website content) for Short Cuts.
Liaising with and growing existing sponsorship deals with external partners/sponsors.
Maintaining daily SP duties: bulletin moderation, finding jobs and opportunities, updating sponsor information on homepage.
Helping develop and improve Shooting People’s website and membership retention.
Overseeing and managing new SP interns.
Overseeing the overall running of the office, such as answering the phone, ordering office supplies, accepting deliveries etc.
Key Skills – Required:
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a small team.
Event production and budgeting experience
Experience liaising with sponsors and partners, including the fulfillment and development of sponsorship packages.
Co-ordination of marketing materials for Short Cuts including trailers, flyers, pop-up banners. Experience of Photoshop and video editing software would be advantageous.
Knowledge of filmmakers and current talent / film scene.
Knowledge of the UK film industry; key organisations supporting independent film.
Experience with multiple technology platforms (EventBrite, Vimeo, Bitly, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Photoshop).
Experience with Google Docs.
Experience in communicating technical needs for website changes/improvements.
