Doc’n Roll Films is seeking a passionate, proactive Outreach Lead Coordinator.

The successful candidate will support the UK theatrical release of S/HE IS STILL HER/E, the official documentary on pioneering artist and gender revolutionary Genesis P-Orridge.

This role is central to ensuring the film reaches and resonates with LGBTQ+ and creative audiences across the UK. We are looking for someone with strong community connections and a deep understanding of grassroots engagement, especially within the arts but also queer, trans and non-binary spaces.

Role details
  • Part-time, 20 hours per week (time can be allotted in whichever way works for the candidate)

Role responsibilities
  • Build and nurture partnerships with regional LGBTQ+ organisations, collectives, and advocacy groups
  • Coordinate community-led screenings, events, and post-film discussions
  • Coordinate the regional outreach team
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to amplify community voices and promote screenings
  • Ensure inclusive, accessible, and meaningful engagement across all regions
  • Prepare and deliver a comprehensive final report summarising project outcomes, performance metrics, and key learnings
Person specifications
  • Lived experience or strong connection to creative, arts, LGBTQ+ communities
  • Experience in community organising, outreach, or public engagement
  • Securing and nurturing promotions & partnerships on a regional level
  • Organising grassroots events and promotional activities
  • Talent management and coordination
  • Social media and email marketing outreach
  • Passion for independent film and music, DIY culture, and identity-focused storytelling
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
