Operations Manager

Salary: £33,000

Showroom / Workstation is an integrated media arts complex operating a café/bar, conference and events facilities, four-screen cinema and creative industries managed workspace.

The Operations Manager is a key member of the Senior Management Team of the Showroom Workstation. We require someone who is results driven, and experienced at managing and motivating staff to deliver exceptional customer service The post-holder also needs to be able to work flexibly, with an entrepreneurial attitude.

The role has specific responsibility for the operational activity of the organisation (kitchen, bar, cinema, front of house, cinema kiosk and conferencing), and within this remit lies responsibility for developing and maintaining our customer service standards, public safety, staffing, purchasing, budgeting, profitability, licensing compliance and overall operational delivery of the commercial activities of the organisation.

The Operations Manager needs to be skilled in task, financial and organisational management and must quickly develop a clear understanding of the Showroom Workstation’s role in Sheffield as a cultural venue and creative industries business centre.
