Salary: £30,000.00 per annum

Arrow Films is seeking an Operations Executive. A key co-ordination point for production, manufacturing and distribution teams.

The role liaises between principal project manager(s) leading each title Production and all internal and external stakeholders, along the critical path through to final product ready for distribution.

The role works closely with the Production and Sales teams in order that physical and logistical targets are met.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing manufacturing and distribution timelines to ensure components are delivered in time to meet planned release dates.
  • Coordinate delivery of each project component, from production, authoring and design.
  • Create BOM for all new and re-work product.
  • Purchase order preparation for stock re-ordering.
  • Liaison with manufacturing and distribution on all physical product.
  • Liaison with manufacturing and distribution on reordering, GRN, storage and despatch.
  • Track manufacturing and shipment progress across UK, US and Canada. Pro-forma invoicing for shipment overseas for US customs.
  • Third party account and stock management.
  • Monitoring of replenishment requirements, in line with company policy on stockholding.
  • Liaison with Producers, Designers and Printers regarding special packaging requirements. Manage relationship between Designers, Production and Marketing.
  • Final artwork proofing prior to print and manufacture.
  • Maintain Operational timelines on master critical path and assignment of barcodes, catalogue numbers across all territory skus.
  • Review all new and existing creative packaging, negotiating new rates with new suppliers.
  • Providing key info on all releases for customer service support.
  • Providing cover to the Head of Operations on logistical tasks.

Performance measurement & targets:

  • Ensure deadlines are met for asset delivery to manufacturing in line with intended release date.
  • Ability to keep all interested parties informed by using standard reporting model.
  • Ensure that delays on critical path are minimised.
  • Stock ordering to optimum levels in line with promotional or standard release.

Projects:

  • Research into new creative packaging suppliers.
  • Involvement on the USA/Canada operations development.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications & experience required:

  • 2+ years logistics’ experience in media or FMCG industry.
  • Degree educated or equivalent professional qualification in business related subject.
  • Understanding of USA/Canada consumer market.

Personal attributes:

  • Extremely well organised and a proven efficient manner of working practice.
  • Passionate about film & television.
  • An understanding of the Home Entertainment industry and familiarity with Arrow products.
