Brixton Community Cinema is inviting Lambeth residents to curate and produce a film event as part of its June programme.
About the Open Call
Proposals are being accepted until midnight on 7 May, and the outcome will be communicated by the week commencing 15 May.
Brixton Community Cinema will cover the cost of film rights and any reasonable additional live element (e.g. Q&A speakers) with the person behind the chosen submission also receiving £100 for their time.
All you need to do is pick a film (or multiple short films) that you think will impart something of value to those in the audience. To apply you must be available on one evening between 10 June and 2 July, and either a resident in, or have a significant connection to, the borough of Lambeth.
