About the role

The media asset manager’s role is to manage all company media assets and to execute instructions approved by all relevant and approved stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Head of Media Services and provides support the production workflow.

You will be responsible for the timely receipt, storage, dispatch of media assets of all forms, for both catalogue and new release titles. Duties will include checking files are to spec, editing and conforming as and when required. Attention to detail is absolutely key.

Contract: Permanent
Hours of employment: 37.5 hours per week

Role responsibilities

  • Management of all ‘assets’ (AV masters, artwork, extras, marketing assets, trailers, etc).
  • Download/receive assets from various sources: Technical team, Licensors & Studios, Producers, Contributors, Film Labs, etc
  • Preparation and delivery of compliant assets out to digital partners, including audio reconfiguration, minor edits/fixes and file exports
  • Assist with asset delivery for TVOD
  • Support the third-party business on both SVoD and AVoD platforms re. delivery of assets
  • Timely delivery of assets direct to external suppliers or service providers in line with production workflow and agreed deadlines
  • Support Marketing in the provision of materials for PR audio/visual clips
  • Prepare files for Classification content, as required by Production Assistant
  • Creation of proxy files and screeners as required
  • Perpetual reorganising and cataloguing of existing assets on MAM

Skills and qualifications required

  • Previous experience with cloud-based media management systems
  • Knowledge of video and audio codecs
  • Proficiency in editing software – preferably Adobe Premiere
  • Very good organisational skills
  • Motivated and effective communicator
  • Project management skills
  • Keen interest in film and good understanding of the Home Ents and Digital Media industry
