Marketing Officer

Salary: £21,000 per annum

The Centre for the Moving Image (CMI) is currently recruiting for a Marketing Officer, based at Belmont Filmhouse, Aberdeen. The Marketing Officer will be responsible for building and delivering effective marketing and communications activity across the organisation with a particular focus on Belmont Filmhouse, raising the profile of the CMI and its businesses, programmes, projects and events.

The Centre for the Moving Image (CMI) incorporates Scotland’s leading independent cinema, Filmhouse, the world’s longest continually running film festival, the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the Filmhouse Café Bar, and the Belmont Filmhouse in Aberdeen.

The right candidate will have an understanding of and passion for film, ideally with some level of experience of working within cinema, film festival or wider film industry, have demonstrable experience in an equivalent marketing role, within a marketing team, and experience of managing and delivering marketing programmes for film or arts initiatives in either an exhibitor or festival environment.
