We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with marketing experience and a passion for film to join our team in London. Ideally, you’ll have experience in film distribution.

You will be an integral part of a small, dedicated team working to build awareness and fuel subscriber growth in the UK through film releases, partnerships, paid media, content-driven campaigns, and brand marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on theatrical distribution campaigns, including positioning, media planning, press & PR, festivals, events and monitoring/reporting.
  • Execute and optimise promotions and media campaigns aimed to maximise subscriber acquisition and increase brand exposure
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and management of day-to-day relationship with a growing network of partners that includes film institutions, film festivals, arts organisations, and supported devices/platforms
  • Develop creative strategies and ideas for connecting with new audiences with limited resources, always paying close attention to the competitive landscape
  • Assist in the execution of existing initiatives and campaigns ranging from theatrical releases to seasonal promotions to platform launches and ongoing brand communication
  • Learn and adapt the identity and social voice of MUBI; assist in brand development through social media channels
  • Analyse and evaluate activities to determine impact, applying actionable insights to continuously improve reach, engagement, and overall effectiveness

Qualifications:

  • Marketing professional with at least 2 years of experience, preferably with film distribution experience
  • Well-versed in social media; up-to-date on trends in the digital landscape
  • Experience implementing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Ability to determine appropriate KPIs, measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimise accordingly
  • Knowledge of the film landscape as it relates to key publications and media
  • Basic Photoshop and video editing skills
  • Ability to speak a second language is a plus
