The Ambassadors, Woking, has an exciting opportunity to be part of the team at the brand-new Nova Cinema.

Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, we are seeking a proactive and creative individual with previous press and marketing experience to help this new venue flourish.

About the role

The Marketing & Communications Officer (Cinema) is a pivotal role within the team, focusing on the implementation and delivery of innovative and targeted marketing and communications strategies for Nova Cinema.

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • A genuine passion and enthusiasm for cinema.
  • Good knowledge of contemporary cinema.
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills – the ability to manage stakeholders in an effective manner.
  • Experience of working in media communications and in managing creative campaigns; generating ideas, driving process and evaluating success.
  • A creative thinker with the ambition to play a key role in driving venue growth.
  • Strong social media management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at once.
  • Proactive and flexible attitude, ability to effectively prioritise.
  • Experience of working with other partners and suppliers to tight deadlines.
  • Absolute attention to detail.
  • Ability to deputise in the absence of either/both of the Marketing Manager and Communications Manager.
