Marketing Assistant

Salary: £30,000- £35,000 pro rata

The Garden Cinema, a new arthouse cinema in Covent Garden, is looking for a Marketing Assistant to help us create a strategy of communication of our program of new releases and classic seasons to London audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identifying relevant audiences for our seasons and events.
• Communicating our program with the appropriate communities and organizations.
• Social media management.
• Drafting press releases and visual presentations.

Experience and skills

• Self-starter, interested to work for a new cinema as it develops its business model and audience.
• Tech savvy, knowledge of digital marketing channels.
• Good contacts within the film industry and the independent sector.

The working days will be 3 – 4 days/week, mainly on site at the venue.
