LFF Venue Coordinators

Salary: £23,433 to £27,414

The BFI is looking for a number of Venue Coordinators to act as the central point of contact for filmmaker guests and operations staff at our partner cinemas during the 62nd BFI London Film Festival.

The Venue Coordinators will be the face of the Festival at their designated cinema site. They will support the smooth rehearsal and delivery of cinema presentations, guest hospitality and transport, and promptly report operational issues to LFF management.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable previous experience of working on a film festival or in a cinema or venue with supervisory responsibilities. They will also be proactive and customer focused with excellent communication skills. Technical experience of operating live microphones and a working knowledge of modern film formats is also required.

The role involves evening and weekend work, dependent on cinema schedules, and you will be based at the same partner cinema for the duration of the 62nd BFI London Film Festival.

Successful candidates must be available to work 10 – 21 October 2018 and also be available for 1.5 days training in September; the date for this is yet to be confirmed.
