The BFI is recruiting for a Systems Coordinator to support its Senior Systems Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be working as part of the BFI London Film Festival Team to support and deliver key software systems used during the festival, primarily Airtable.

The BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.

This is a full-time, fixed term contract role running from 26 August – 21 October 2024.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To act as a systems super-user in the team’s current Airtable development and implementation, including detailed knowledge of the database, fields, automations and interfaces, and be able to support these around the team as required, responding to queries from users in a timely and accurate way.
  • To act as a super user for other BFI systems including ArtifaxEvent, make.com, Filemaker, Jotform, StaffSavvy, and Eventmaker
  • To update and enhance the Airtable implementation as required, including adding or modifying database fields, interface pages, automations, etc, populating new data tables, and managing user permissions.
  • To offer support on Airtable integrations with broader systems, running key production processes and troubleshooting any problems.

The BFI is looking for candidates with:

  • Proven administration skills, particularly the ability to accurately manage large amounts of data
  • Proven strong IT skills and experience working with or managing databases, ideally including Airtable.
  • Proven problem-solving and analysis skills. Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • A proven track record of promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion.
