LFF Senior Production Coordinator (Receptions)

The BFI is looking for a Senior Production Coordinator (Receptions) to coordinate and deliver the Hospitality programme for the BFI London Film Festival 2024.

BFI London Film Festival (LFF) runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival.

Fixed Term Contract: 15 July until 1 November 2024

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, plan and execute a large portfolio of LFF hospitality events including filmmakers’ dinners and receptions, networking drinks, and other bespoke events for the duration of the festival
  • Support the Senior Production Manager in the delivery of the Opening and Closing Night Parties, along with additional Gala Receptions taking place throughout the course of the Festival.
  • Appoint and manage a team of temporary staff including coordinators, assistants and volunteers

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a film festival environment or related cultural industry
  • Experience of people management, including recruitment, supervision and training
  • Knowledge of the international film industry and the UK distribution scene.
  • Knowledge of central London hospitality venues.
  • The ability to work creatively under pressure and on own initiative
