LFF Marketing Coordinator (Production and Partnerships)

Salary: £27,498 - £29,880 per annum (pro-rata)

The BFI is seeking a a coordinator to support the Festivals marketing team in delivering ambitious digital-first marketing campaigns and activities for the BFI London Film Festival (LFF).

Fixed Term Contract: 3 July to 20 October 2023

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking the lead with grassroots outreach and promotional partnerships to meet the Festival’s audience development and sales objectives.
  • Supporting the Festivals Marketing Manager on delivery of red-carpet event and wider festivalisation activations, including overseeing installations and liaising with suppliers.
  • Supporting the Festivals and Campaigns Marketing Advisor with partner venue branding and marketing, including coordination of design briefing and production, sales tactics and bespoke creative ideas.
  • Coordinating the distribution of LFF print materials to partner venues, local community and cultural organisations.
  • Writing copy and originating creative ideas for the Festival’s social media and email campaigns.
We are looking for candidates who have:
  • Proven professional experience in film exhibition or distribution
  • Knowledge and interest in contemporary international film, series and immersive storytelling
  • Good understanding of venue or event branding
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels, websites and social media in a promotional context
