The BFI is looking for a Guest Transport and Logistics Coordinator to join the London Film Festival team.

The BFI London Film Festival Guest Transport Coordinators work within a busy team responsible for facilitating a first-class ground transport service for Festival filmmakers, VIP guests, distributors, staff and Festival deliveries.

The Guest Transport Team work closely with the Festival Production Manager, Gala Producer, Programme & Guest Services Team, driver agency and taxi providers to ensure a welcoming, well-organised and timely transport experience between a range of London cinemas, reception venues, airports, hotels and events.

With excellent knowledge of London’s transport links, the successful candidate will be a calm, friendly individual who is committed and highly organised with strong administrative and problem solving skills and the ability to cope with late nights and early mornings. The role requires very close management of schedules that are constantly subject to change and maintenance of strong lines of communication with all relevant parties. Effective scheduling, air and rail tracking, customer service and communication skills are essential.

The ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work during the Festival, is essential to the role.

The role is predominantly based at BFI Southbank, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working a mixture of from office and from home, so some flexibility around this is needed.
