Salary: £37,372 – 44,163 per annum

The BFI is seeking a Delegate Services Manager to join their Festivals team for the 66th BFI London Film Festival.

BFI London Film Festival runs an Industry & Professional Programme of screenings, events, networking and informal marketplace for around 3,500 film industry professionals alongside the main public festival. The programme is delivered in cinema and virtually and accessed via a Delegate pass.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working in partnership with the Head of Business & Operations and Guest Services & Partnerships Manger, the Delegate Services Manager is responsible for the overall management of the delegate experience from sales of passes to ease of access to the Industry & Professional programme both in cinemas and online.
  • Working closely with the Systems Coordinator on setting up and managing the Digital Viewing Library, managing all daily communication with delegates on all activities and ticket requests.
  • Working closely with the Guest Services & Partnerships Manager and Assistant Hospitality Manager to deliver coherent customer services to all festival delegates.
  • Manage a team of temporary staff including Delegate Services Coordinators; Press Delegate Coordinator & Delegate Services Assistant
Experience & Skills
  • Experience of line management and leading teams to deliver successfully against objectives set.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve sales income.
  • Evidence of proven project management skills/experience
  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills with the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels and under pressured conditions
