LFF 2021 Hospitality Assistant

British Film Institute

London

Salary: £23,133

The BFI is seeking two Hospitality Assistants for the 2021 BFI London Film Festival.

Working as an integral part of the wider BFI LFF team, these roles will support the Programme & Filmmaker Services and the Industry & Events teams in their delivery of all hospitality activities for filmmakers and Festival guests.

The Hospitality Assistants will also assist in venue and stock management, in establishing and maintaining relationships with filmmakers, distributors, industry partners and Festival guests to ensure that they are invited to relevant dinners and receptions, in liaising with Festival programmers and staff, and general administrative support.

The ability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work during the Festival, is essential to the role.

We support diversity and inclusion and actively welcome and encourage applicants from our under-represented groups, both of non-white ethnicity and/or those who identify as D/deaf and disabled. We guarantee a first interview to those from our under-represented groups on meeting our minimum requirements. How we are doing, including our pay gaps and our commitment to Black Lives Matter can be found on our website.

The role is predominantly based at BFI Southbank, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working a mixture of from office and from home, so some flexibility around this is needed.
