Salary: £38,526 - £45,315 per annum

The BFI is looking for an Internal Communications & Engagement Manager to join their team and support the organisation through a period of major transformation and change.

The post holder will play an integral part in supporting the BFI’s commitment in delivering Screen Culture 2033, to embed our culture drivers and develop a staff body at the BFI that is confident, informed and empowered.

The Internal Communications & Engagement Manager will be responsible for keeping the distributed teams connected and informed, and creating a shared understanding of our goals, values, and culture.

Fixed term contract for 12 months

Key responsibilities include:
  • To develop a detailed understanding of the BFI, including its ambitions in relation to Screen Culture 2023, brand strategy and culture drivers.
  • To establish an internal communications approach for the BFI, identifying and establishing channels and networks across the organisation.
  • To support the Head of People and Culture and People Team in embedding the BFI culture drivers.
We are looking for candidates who have:
  • Proven experience of planning and managing an internal communications strategy and delivery plan.
  • An understanding of the principles of agile communication.
  • Proven experience of planning, running and evaluating content or marketing campaigns.
  • Experience of building relationships with stakeholders in a complex organisation An up-to-date understanding of best practice in internal communications.
  • Creative storyteller with the ability to create engaging content.
