Impact Producer, Yorkshire

Salary: £160 per day

Reclaim the Frame is seeking to contract a regional freelance events producer/film marketeer in Yorkshire (Leeds/Sheffield) to work with them on their mission to champion marginalised perspectives in cinema, connecting with audiences through community building events and conversation.

We work with Impact Producers across the UK to decentralise the curation of Reclaim The Frame, in recognition that impactful connections and outreach is best achieved through local relationships and lived experiences in the areas and cities we work in.

The role of each Impact Producer is to creatively input and effectively deliver local marketing and outreach activity and events in your region as part of our audience-facing project in support of our aim to champion support films by filmmakers of marginalised genders, and build a community for those who make, show, release and watch them.

In addition to a team of regional Impact Producers based in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the North West, Midlands, the South West and South East, we’re looking to recruit an Impact Producer for Yorkshire, primarily to work with our partner venues Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds and Showroom in Sheffield.

Time commitment: 2-3 days per month

• A keen passion for film and its potential to make change
• An established regional network
• Passion for inclusion and access
• Experience in promoting films and/or cultural events
• Initiative to work under your own steam
• Capacity to be flexible with commitments including evening and weekend work
• Commitment to participate in Reclaim The Frame curatorial/communications catch-ups
