The British Film Institute are looking for a Hires & Sales Coordinator who will be responsible for developing and delivering our private hire programme across BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX.

You will build upon the current successful programme at BFI Southbank and as we bring the BFI IMAX back in house this role will be key in supporting the new hire programme alongside the Hires and Sales Manager.  This role will be key in consolidating the BFI’s reputation as a landmark cinema venue and centre for excellence.

Key responsibilities:
  • To constantly review and develop sales and account handling and procedures. Agree and set uniform corporate events sales standards for the delivery team and ensure that they are adhered to through ongoing evaluation.
  • To ensure a dynamic programme of Cultural Industry/Partnership hires is maintained and developed establishing BFI Southbank and BFI IMAX as major cultural hubs for the screen sector.
  • To work with BFI Marketing and Communications to produce, maintain and develop marketing strategies and materials designed to promote BFI Southbank as a dynamic, contemporary hire destination.
Skills & Experience:
  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a business studies field
  • Demonstrable experience of managing sales or income-generating events or high impact partnership programmes, ideally within an Arts environment
  • Proven experience of business development through events
