Salary: £55,398 - £64,803

With a budget of c. £2.5m of National Lottery funding per annum, and a number of partnerships reaching across the UK, the BFI NETWORK has grown into a significant year-round talent development resource for filmmakers early in their career and supported them – through short film development & funding, community-building & networking, and industry-backed professional development – on their journey towards long-form work.

Working with a dedicated team within the Film Fund, with Film Fund colleagues and NETWORK Talent Executives based in the BFI regional Film Hubs, this is a key role in the continued development and delivery of the BFI’s activities to support new and emerging film talent, and provides overall cultural and strategic leadership of the BFI NETWORK – including through numerous associated programmes delivered across the UK, by identifying new industry partnerships and ongoing development of the BFI NETWORK online platform.

This role will be responsible for ensuring that BFI NETWORK is accessible and inclusive, with a focus on outreach and engagement, and signalling opportunities that benefit a broad talent pool including practitioners in emerging media; and engaging, tracking and supporting the progression of supported filmmakers, including brokering their relationship with development and production executives in the BFI Film Fund.
