Situated directly above England’s largest pub, the Cambridge Arts Picturehouse offers three screens and shows a range of classics and new releases, as well as having its own bar and cafe that’s distinctly artier than the pub downstairs. You can enjoy a pint of the exclusive locally-brewed ‘Reel Ale’, and there are also regular film quizzes.

The Arts Picturehouse also show live HD broadcasts of productions from world-class arts venues, such as the New York Metropolitan Opera and the Bolshoi Ballet, theatre productions such as the Royal Shakespeare Company Live from Stratford-upon-Avon and National Theatre Live, art exhibitions and filmmaker Q&As.

Picturehouse Cambridge is part of Picturehouse Cinemas who operate 24 cinemas across the UK and are a stand-alone division of Cineworld PLC.

Vacancy

This is the perfect opportunity for an emerging Head Chef with a flair for creating interesting, contemporary food with great ingredients.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience working in a professional kitchen with at least 2 years working at Sous Chef level. A passion for all things food is required. Experience of working to deliver private events and a proven track record of delivering results is desirable.

Please note there is a requirement to work 45 hours per week over any of the seven days with regular work at evenings and weekends.
