About The Forum Cinema
The Forum Cinema is a single screen, community owned cinema situated in the Hexham, Northumberland. It screens a diverse programme of quality blockbusters, independent, foreign language, and arthouse films as well as live broadcasts including theatre productions, opera, music, and ballet. It has a licenced café bar which hosts regular events and exhibitions.
Job Purpose
- To take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the cinema and café.
- General management of staff.
- Provide leadership to build on the organisational capability and to maximise the cinema growth and profitability.
- To work on the future of the cinema in line with strategic decisions and plans as agreed with the Board of Directors.
- To ensure all legal and statutory obligations are complied with.
- To oversee and facility, building works and development.
Job Information
- Working four days a week including some flexible evening and weekend work.
- Salary negotiable depending on experience.
