Located on Broad Street, right in the heart of town, Reading Biscuit Factory is a new three-screen cinema, bar, coffee shop, live performance space and community hub. Our aim is to offer a fantastic and welcoming venue that embraces Reading’s rich and vibrant culture, and create a setting where everyone can relax, work, meet, create and perform – all under one roof.
About the job
We are currently looking for talented and enthusiastic General Assistants to join our team: people who feel passionate about film, cultural events and their community. Our ideal applicants will already have plenty of experience working in a similar venue environment, but we’re keen to see amazing applications from any background. The most important thing is you want to help us create a dynamic, exciting and inclusive hub for Reading and its people.
Each and every member of the team at Reading Biscuit Factory is responsible for maintaining the highest levels of customer service throughout the venue. You will work across all areas, including bar, box office, cinema ushering and support in the delivery of other cultural events and hires. You will be expected to support the General Manager in maintaining first-class presentation and ensuring all health & safety and licensing standards are followed.
