Fund Administrator (Film Academy)

Salary: £29,748 - £31,557 per annum
The BFI seeks a Fund Administrator (Film Academy) to join their team on a fixed-term contract.
The Fund Administrator will offer administrative support to the BFI Film Academy programme including scheduling internal and external meetings, managing enquiries, taking meeting minutes, diary management, and filing all necessary Film Academy programme documentation.
The Fund Administrator will also aid the effective administration of Film Academy grant funding including raising and processing grant payments, collecting, collating and filing reports from funding recipients, and ensuring all grant management records are up to date at all times.
Fixed Term Contract: until 31 March 2025
Key responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for BFI Film Academy delivery partners. Provide relevant information and guidance for all programme, funding, and application related enquiries (telephone, email, face to face).
- To provide administrative support to the Senior Film Academy Events & Festivals Manager in the delivery of the Film Academy Venue Partner monthly programme of shared events and yearly regional activity supporting the Future Film Festival.
- To receive, log and check the eligibility and completeness of project applications for both Film Academy courses programme and Film Academy venue partnerships programme delivery
- Liaise with delivery partners to ensure that claims for funding are submitted on time. To receive, log and check the eligibility and completeness of all grant payment claims.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience in a project administrator role.
- Experience of using and maintaining a range of databases, spreadsheets and records.
- A proven track record of promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate recordkeeping, even during busy periods.
