Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Together Films is looking for a Freelance Tech & Systems Administrator to ensure that the systems that they use to power their operations are optimised and always fit for purpose.

Location: Remote or Hybrid, with flexible office base available in London. You need to be UK or US-based and to be able to operate in either London or NYC (EST) time zones. Please let us know your location and any flexible work requests upon application.

Term: Twelve-month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £40 – £50k (commensurate with experience)

Hours 1 to 2 days per week, 8 hours per day (n.b. this role may require some technical event support outside of regular working hours)

We manage a slate of impact distribution campaigns for up to ten documentary films each year and we now are looking for a key person to grow this offering and manage a high volume of screening events for upcoming US-focussed campaigns.

About the Role

Your role is to ensure that the systems that Together Films uses to power its operations are optimised and always fit for purpose. We love utilising ‘no-code’ solutions to solve our clients problems. We are looking for someone who can support our operations, review our current workflows, suggest improvements and troubleshoot when things go wrong. You will also look after our CRM database which includes internal data and 3rd party information (for our clients) and so you must understand data protection and GDPR legislation. You will be responsible for data importing and exporting, data cleanup, and audience segmentation requests from the team.

This role requires specialist experience of systems management ideally with knowledge of Zapier, APIs, WordPress, digital video systems, digital ticketing & e-commerce, asset collection and storage, data dashboards & analytics and systems automation and CRM. On a day-to-day basis you will be a ‘doer’, solving tech problems and supporting a team.

Job Purpose:

  • Develop tech optimisation strategy and implementation for Together Films and also for our clients on a case-by-case basis
  • Maintain API integrations for automation and implement new time-saving ones
    Create data-driven dashboards for each of our campaigns (using our CRM software)
  • Update and develop Together Films & client websites (WordPress, Squarespace or Webflow)
  • Manage e-commerce platform for online film screenings
  • Optimise data efficiency journey with our CRM
  • Pull audience segments for community outreach projects
  • Recommend new analytical tools and add ons
  • Serve as main internal point of contact for the support, integration, administration, data hygiene, change management documentation and maintenance for CRM platform and associated integrated tool tech stack applications
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues and fulfill requests
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create, maintain and update reporting dashboards and tracking of objectives, milestones, and funnel conversions by channel
  • Handle bulk data migration, maintenance of page layout, and installation and support of app exchange applications
  • Troubleshoot the root cause of technical incidents and provide quick solutions
  • Author and maintain tech stack troubleshooting guides for the team
  • Create and update users in our tech stack, maintain user hierarchy rules, roles, permission sets, and profiles to ensure system security

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years experience in a tech / systems administrative role
  • Sound working knowledge of Zapier, APIs, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho, Hubspot), Web building tools (either WordPress, Squarespace or Webflow),
  • Ideal knowledge of e-commerce plugins (e.g. WooCommerce / Shopify), Digital Video systems (e.g. Cinesend / Eventive)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously, to find and solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand, discuss and resolve complex technical issues with teammates
  • Creative, analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and complete multiple priorities and assignments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Two references who can account for your abilities and skillset.

Desireable Skills:

  • Experience with film DCP delivery, various film file specifications and knowledge of the various requirements for in-person and digital screening events.
